I. Project Background: Steam Demand for Alcohol Production Plant in Estonia
The customer is a professional alcohol manufacturing enterprise in Estonia, mainly engaged in the production of potato and grain-based edible alcohol, industrial ethanol and beverage spirits. It supplies products to the Estonian domestic market and Baltic European countries. The factory strictly follows EU PED safety regulations and Estonia’s strict flue gas emission and low-nitrogen environmental standards.
With production capacity upgrading, the original boiler could no longer meet technical and environmental requirements, bringing three major challenges:
The old boiler had unstable steam pressure and large fluctuation, unable to provide constant high-temperature steam required for raw material cooking, liquefaction, fermentation, distillation and concentration;
High pollutant emissions could not comply with Estonia’s low-nitrogen and clean production policies, facing rectification pressure;
