Guide: This cooperation with Xinli Boiler on the Q22453-3.9-1.05 series waste heat recovery boiler is reached by Hazi Taher Ali Steel Industries Private Limited from Bangladesh who is an important local steel manufacturing enterprise.
This cooperation with Xinli Boiler this time is reached by Hazi Taher Ali Steel Industries Private Limited from Bangladesh who is an important steel manufacturing enterprise in the local area. In their production process, electricity cost is one of its main operating expenses. As a growing private steel enterprise in the country, the steel plant has built a 5-megawatt gas turbine power plant to ensure continuous power supply for core processes such as rolling and smelting. The steel rolling workshop of the factory requires approximately 25 tons of industrial steam above 1.0 MPa per day for heating steel billets. Previously, the factory relied on coal-fired boilers for supply with an annual coal consumption of 1100 tons and a risk of exceeding sulfur dioxide standards. They also produce a large amount of flue gas with temperatures as high as 400-500 ℃ after the gas turbines in the factory generate electricity. This high-quality heat energy was previously directly discharged into the atmosphere, which is not only a huge waste of energy, but also causes thermal pollution. In order to achieve the triple goal of "Waste Heat Resource Utilization - Steam Self-sufficiency - Emission Reduction and Cost Reduction", the steel plant decided to adopt a new waste heat recovery system to convert the wasted flue gas into high-value thermal energy. After comparing the technical solutions of multiple industrial boiler suppliers at home and abroad, they finally chose the Q22453-3.9-1.05 series waste heat recovery steam boiler from Xinli Boiler to construct a conversion system for producing new steam from the exhaust gas of waste heat gas turbines.
This Q22453-3.9-1.05 series waste heat recovery boiler can efficiently recover the waste heat from the high-temperature flue gas discharged by gas turbines and produce superheated steam to drive steam turbine generator sets. The boiler will build an efficient system of "Waste Heat Recovery Steam Production Precision Supply" for Hazi Taher Ali Steel Industries Private Limited by accurately matching the flue gas parameters of a 5MW gas turbine. This solution can not only solve the pollution and cost problems of traditional coal-fired steam supply, but also help it achieve cascading energy utilization. In addition, the successful cooperation with this steel mill in Bangladesh has also verified the compatibility of Xinli Boiler's waste heat recovery boiler with the steel mills in the Bangladesh. The modular installation and low maintenance cost of this kind of boiler can provide an economic solution of "Steam Self-sufficiency+Environmental Compliance" combined with local tax incentives, for small and medium-sized steel enterprises in Southeast Asia. This project can not only significantly improve the energy self-sufficiency rate of the steel mill and reduce its operating costs, but also reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the cascading utilization of energy, which means setting an example for the green and sustainable development of local industries in Bangladesh.
