The total wood consumption was increased year to year. Wood material is generally processed into door, furniture, artificial board, and paper, etc. However, the environment situation is increasing serious, many countries impose a ban on cut down trees. Thus, wood resource will be relatively short. In wood processing factory, there will be large amount of wood waste, Xinli biomass boiler could burn these wood waste, and offer sufficient heat for wood processing, to increase the process efficiency.
In wood processing industry, boilers are widely used for different wood processing industries, such as drying, hot-pressing, curing, dyeing, sterilizing, etc. Otherwise, autoclave is also used with steam boiler for wood preservation. Heat energy can be produced in various ways in the wood industries. Both steam boiler and thermal oil heaters could be used for offering heat. In addition to conventional natural gas and fuel oil, wood dust is also used as fuel for firing thermal oil boiler or steam boiler. Using biomass fuels from in-house production reduces fuel costs and saves fossil resources, it also significantly reduces overall plant emissions.

Determine boiler medium
Both steam boiler and thermal oil heaters could be used for offering heat in wood processing factory, they are used for different processes, first is to determine which one to use.
Determine boiler capacity
Determine the boiler capacity according to the requirements of the production output.
Determine boiler pressure
Generally, boiler pressure is always higher than the production of saturated steam pressure, the reason is to overcome the pressure loss in the pipe or network. The actual production pressure plus the pressure drop required to overcome all pipe resistance plus a pressure margin of 25 to 30 percent is sufficient.
Determine Boiler Fuel
Boilers are divided into fuel oil gas boilers, coal-fired boilers, biomass boilers, electric boilers. Generally, coal and wood boiler are used for wood processing factories because of the low fuel cost. Users have to consider the boiler fuel based on their specific situation including fuel cost and national environmental protection requirements.
Capacity and Model
If two or more boilers are needed, it’s better to select the boilers with same capacity or combustion equipment. If different, the max limitation is two models, to decrease the problems of equipment layout and management.
